Following breakfast, our day begins with a departure from Fes through the High Atlas Mountains, an enchanting natural expanse in Morocco that serves as both a historical and physical divide between the north and pre-Sahara regions.

Our route commences with a visit to Ifran, a meticulously organized city that evokes a Swiss ambiance within the Middle Atlas. As we traverse alongside the Cedar Forest’s edge, we ascend steep hills through diverse woods, reaching the renowned cedar forests where endangered Barbary apes reside. Progressing through Tizi Ntalghamtto, we traverse Ziz Gorges, granting passage to the Tafilalt oases. En route, we pass Errachidia, where a lunch break awaits, providing an opportunity to savor Berber hospitality.

Continuing through Erfoud and Risani, the journey unfolds amidst panoramic vistas of the Ziz Valley before arriving at Merzouga. Upon arrival, a refreshing glass of mint welcomes you to our riad.

As the day culminates, prepare to witness one of the world’s most breathtaking sunsets. An evening of dinner and an overnight stay in your riad conclude this exhilarating day.

Day 7MERZOUGA AREA EXPLORATION - CAMEL TREK- CAMPFIRE

We will get an early start so that we can see the breathtaking dawn, and then we will return to the riad for a delicious breakfast.

Experience the rich culture of our home country as we take you on a tour of the dunes of Merzouga, via a beautiful oasis, and into the nomadic Khamlia settlement, where you can see how Africans live their colorful lives. Dive into the music and culture of the Gnawa people to learn about their customs. We continue on to Rissani, which was once a thriving center for salt caravans from Mali, via the nearby Merzouga Lake, a sanctuary for a wide variety of birds.

As you peruse the fabric, spice, and vegetable souks, stop for lunch at a local pizzeria and enjoy your meal. Take advantage of your downtime upon your return to Merzouga to unwind, cool down in the water, and rediscover the desert’s charm. They embrace the otherworldly splendor of the Sahara while mounted on camels, escorted by knowledgeable guides, as they go into the sand sea of Erg Chebbi. Stay in a nomadic tent and watch as the sun sets over the dunes, creating an indescribable scene. In the evening, have supper in the middle of the camp, and then either sleep under the stars or under the canvas. Listen to the classic melodies of Berber nomad musicians as they play rhythms around the campfire, if you so choose.

Day 8MERZOUGA – TODGHA GORGE – DADES VALLEY

After having breakfast at the Raid, begin a trip to Dads Valley by taking the enchanting Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Along the way, you will pass through Rissani, Erfoud, which is a rich source of fossils and of great interest to archaeologists, and Tinghir, where you can see the peaceful rural lifestyle and admire the charming dwellings that decorate the expansive oasis.

Upon reaching Todra Canyons, one will be amazed by the grandeur of Morocco’s tallest and most slender canyons, a really breathtaking natural phenomenon. Explore the Dads Valley, where you will come across magnificent sand castles, unique rock formations known as “monkey toes,” and charming Berber towns.

Day 9DADS VALLEY - SKOURA - OUARZAZATE

We then wander through the bustling streets of the Medina, immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere filled with vibrant colors, exotic aromas, and bustling market stalls. We explore the enchanting Bahia Palace, admiring its intricate tilework and tranquil gardens. Later, we ventured into the lively Jardin Majorelle, where the vibrant blue buildings and lush botanical gardens provided a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

In the afternoon, we will indulge in traditional Moroccan cuisine at a local restaurant and savored the flavors of tagines, couscous, and mint tea. Today we will do a A day trip from Marrakech that takes you deep into the Atlas Mountains and gives you a chance to see the beautiful Ourika Valley. Drive along curvy mountain roads and enjoy the stunning views of tall hills with Berber towns on them.

Enjoy the beauty of the valley by visiting lively local markets and staying in Berber villages that are happy to see you. Walk along sparkling streams and enjoy the view of tumbling waterfalls.

Day 13MARRAKESH - ESSAOUIRA

Our Morocco tour starts today in Essaouira and takes us to Casablanca, which is the country’s busy economic center. As we drive along the coastal road, taking in the beautiful views, we pass through Safi, which is known for its busy fishing industry, and Oualidia, a charming place known for its delicious seafood.

We continue traveling to Casablanca by passing through El Jadida, formerly known as Mazagan, which has a historic medina that the Portuguese constructed in 1513. When you get to Casablanca, you should see the Hassan II Mosque, which is very grand and sits high above a rocky bay with a view of the ocean. After that, you should go to the famous Place Mohamed V.

Day 14ESSAOUIRA – SAFI OUALIDIA – EL JADIDA – CASABLANCA
